• How to Cook Organic Black RicePerfectly: Place rinsed, soaked, and drained rice in a pot. For 1 cup of rice, add 1 cup and 1 tablespoon of plain water; cover with the lid, turn on the heat to medium-high and let the water come to a boil in the next 3 to 4 minutes. Simmer for about 13 to 17 minutes on low heat (brown rice or multigrain rice would need to be simmered on low heat for 3 to 4 minutes longer than white rice).
