Authentic ancient grain texture

Used this for a Mediterranean tomato-feta farro bake and it turned out amazing. You can tell it's high quality California-managed organic grain. Rich nutty aroma while boiling and holds its distinct texture perfectly. Will definitely reorder when my 2lb bag runs low.

Solid product. Clean kernels with no broken pieces or small stones. Adds a nice nutty flavor to casseroles and warm pilafs.

Digestive game changer

Switched to this because I wanted more fiber in my diet to help with digestion. It's super filling and doesn't cause that heavy feeling after eating like refined carbs do. The kernels are uniform, cleanly packed, and have an earthy, toasted flavor once cooked. Definitely a pantry regular for us now.

Good ancient grain, takes some time to cook

The quality and nutty flavor are excellent, and it holds up great in a vegetable minestrone without turning to mush. Just keep in mind that because it's whole farro kernels, it needs a good 30-minute boil (or a brief pre-soak) to soften up nicely. Knocked off one star only because the bag doesn't have a zip seal, so I put it in a mason jar.

Great nutty bite for salads and meal prep

I've been swapping out brown rice for this organic farro in my weekly grain bowls, and the texture is so much better. It stays pleasantly chewy and nutty, even after being tossed with lemon vinaigrette in the fridge for a couple of days. Simmered in chicken broth for about 25-30 minutes until tender. Super clean grains right out of the bag with zero debris. Love that it's USDA and CCOF certified organic.
