A lot of store-bought dried rosemary tastes like dry grass or wood, but this retains its natural essential oils and robust piney flavor. Crushes easily between your fingers to release extra aroma. Definitely keeping this in my pantry!

I bake sourdough bread weekly, and sprinkling this crushed rosemary on top with flaky sea salt and olive oil gives it that authentic Italian bakery aroma and taste. Because it's crushed rather than whole needles.

This is high-grade rosemary, so a little bit goes a very long way. If you use too much, it can easily overpower lighter dishes. Rehydrates wonderfully in beef stews and sourdough focaccia.
