Fresh, earthy, and finely ground

A lot of buckwheat flours can taste dusty or stale, but this one is remarkably fresh and fragrant. Elevated our weekend baking immediately. Highly recommend!

Gentle on the stomach and nutrient-rich

Swapped out refined flours for this buckwheat flour to get more B vitamins, minerals, and plant-based protein into my diet. It doesn't cause that heavy sluggish feeling after eating. Makes wonderful rustic breakfast muffins.

Solid product. Mixed it 50/50 with all-purpose flour for weekend waffles and the flavor was rich and hearty.

Perfect for homemade soba noodles and galettes

Used this for French-style savory crepes (galettes) and homemade noodles. It has that authentic dark, speckled look and distinct nutty bite that cheap store brands lack. Knowing it's clean and natural without harsh additives makes a big difference. 2lb bag is a solid quantity for weekly cooking.

Great earthy taste, best blended with other flour

The quality is great and it smells very fresh. If you're baking biscuits or bread, definitely blend it with regular flour or oat flour as recommended rather than using pure buckwheat so your bake doesn't turn out too dense or crumbly. Deducted one star only because the bag isn't resealable, but the flour itself is top quality.
